summer term 1 Toy Story
Toy Story!
This term we are taking our inspiration from toys! We will be starting off our topic with the discovery of a wonder-box! As part of our knowledge and understanding of the World we will be exploring toys that would have been played with in the past compared to the toys that children use and experience in the present day. We will thinking about how they work and we will be making props and resources to use in our new toyshop role play areas. The children will be able to design their own toys, take on the role of shop-keepers and customers; writing lists, creating plans, posters and writing out receipts!
This year it is the platinum jubilee so we will also be learning about our wonderful Queen and making all the preparations for a jubilee party!
