United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child: Article 19: Your child has the Right to be Safe

 Please Think Before You Park! 

I have analysed the findings of the Parent questionnaire completed at the end of the last academic year and I wanted to share a common concern:

 Inconsiderate driving and parking at the start and end of  the school day around our school.

 Therefore I thought I would write to remind everyone that we all have the ‘right to be safe’ so please take care when driving that you are mindful of others around you, children and adults alike.

  Please may we remind all road users that you be parking on the yellow lines around school and on the corners of surrounding roads. May I also take this opportunity to inform you that the parking restrictions opposite the school are in force. 

No parking is allowed between 8:00am – 9:30am or 2:30pm – 4:00pm.

 I have contacted PCSO Moore to ask for support on enforcing these restrictions and he has supplied me with the attached sheet for Parents and residents to complete and send to the email address below with a photograph of any vehicle parking carelessly:
