Our Mission Statement & Values

Our Mission Statement

'Reach For The Stars - Never Stop Believing'

Our values are at the heart of everything we do, shaping the way we learn, work and grow together. They guide us in creating our safe, respectful and nurturing environment where every child is able to thrive academically, socially and emotionally. Our values are not only embedded in our classrooms but are also reflected in the relationships we build across the whole school community.

For our children, the values provide a strong foundation for learning and personal development; for our families, they create a sense of partnership, trust and belonging. For our team of staff, they inspire collaboration, care and high expectations in all that we do.

By living through our values each day, we ensure that our school is rich with purpose, kindness and opportunities for everyone to flourish.

At World’s End Infant and Nursery School, our values are:

Rights Respecting School

Our school is proud to be working towards becoming a Rights Respecting School, as part of the UNICEF UK programme. This means that we are committed to placing the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) at the heart of our school values, policies and daily practice. By learning about their rights, children also understand the importance of respecting the rights of others, helping to create a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for everyone. Through this approach, we aim to nurture confident, caring and responsible young people who are empowered to make a positive difference in our school, our community and wider world.

Children are taught about rights in PSHE (Personal Social Health Education). They learn about children’s rights in assemblies, through fundraising activities and they learn to respect other people’s rights when staff model and encourage rights respecting behaviour throughout the day.
