To kick start the new year we are focusing on keeping healthy and staying fit! This also includes looking after our mental as well as physical health. In science we will be learning lots about the effect exercise has on our bodies and the importance of eating a range of food from the different food groups. We will, of course be making and tasting lots of delicious healthy food as part of our Design and Food technology Yum yum! In history we will be learning about the incredible lives of Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole and the role they played in medicine. Our core texts this term are The Heathy Wolf by David Bedford and Quill Soup by Alan Durant but you could also check out the food themed book list which can found below.
