Autumn Term 2: Once Upon a Time
Once Upon a Time
This half term our topic is called ‘Once Upon a Time’ and we will be learning all about traditional fairy tales. We will be focussing on the following stories:
- Little Red Riding Hood
- Jack and the Beanstalk
- The Three Billy Goats Gruff
As part of this topic the children will become Scientists when learning about mammals, fish and birds. They will also make maps which will link to different traditional fairy tales as part of our Geography lessons. Finally, the children will transform into Designers during our Design and Technology lessons and will make a moving picture. What an exciting half term it is going to be!
