Summer term 2 Keyworkers and Superheroes

Keyworkers and Superheroes!

This term we are taking our inspiration from the wonderful people who help us!  We will be exploring key roles within our community and will be backed up with non-fiction texts to find out the facts about the jobs these important people do! We will be starting off our topic with a special themes day as the Evil Pea from the Supertato story has been up to no good (again1) and our classrooms have turned into crime scenes! 

 

Our core texts this term include:  Supertato by Sue Hendra, ‘Zog and the Flying Doctors’ by Julia Donaldson, Burglar Bill by Alan Ahlberg and Marmalade a very different dragon.
