At Worlds End Infant and Nursery School we understand that children are naturally curious and we encourage children to be inquisitive throughout their time with us. Our Science curriculum which follows the National Curriculum for science fosters a healthy curiosity in children about our universe and promotes respect for the living and non-living. We believe science encompasses the acquisition of knowledge, concepts, skills and positive attitudes. Throughout their time children will acquire and develop skills and knowledge through a well planned, engaging and practical science curriculum. We ensure that the 'working scientifically' skills are built-on upon through a clear progression so that they become confident when applying their knowledge and continue to ask questions and remain curious about their surroundings.
